Mmmmmm Weekend!

What better way to spend Memorial weekend than a trip down to Moab and Monticello? Sounds like an Mmmmmm weekend to me!
 Hovenweep Ruins

Our little lizard friend! Look at his coloring! Isn't that gorgeous! I was going to catch him, but I got a little nervous that he would be poisonous with all that color... So I chickened out.

Then it was off to the Four Corners. This has always been on my bucket list! I finally got to cross it off with my best friend today! :)

It was a day of crossing things off our Bucket List because that night we went to the Monticello Temple to finish our last temple! Temple #12! You can see our temple trip here! We did it! What an AMAZING experience! :) Wowee!

It was SO windy down in Monticello. One of the temple workers told us it was always like that down there. Crazy!
Our next adventure was mountain biking in Moab. It was SO windy! I had so sand in my hair it will take me a century to get it all out. It was fun to just hold on to the handles and let the wind push you along, but it was a pain when you had to go against the wind. It was an uphill battle every time!

Our next adventure was Arches National Park. I have never been here before and it was quite the experience! I didn't know so many arches could exist in one place! I wish we could have stayed a week down there! It was such a cool experience!

I really hope to go back again one day and hike it all! It was too fun and I am so grateful to Laurie and Craig for taking us out there! Love you guys! Brian and I had so much fun with you two!

Easter Escape

I finally loaded my camera's pictures on my computer and I was surprised to see pictures from Easter weekend still there! So here is my little flash from the past. For Easter Brian's parents went to visit Brian's brother Mike and his family in Milwaukee so we spent the weekend with my family. The Kendell Klan headed down to Salt Lake City Friday night to go to a jazz game and then stay the weekend.
I can't get enough of this little girl! We will miss her so much when we head to Chicago!
First time at City Creek! It was so packed! (As I expected!)

The next day we went to Music and the Spoken Word at the Tabernacle. To get there we walked through a now empty City Creek. It is the only mall nationwide that is closed on Sundays. It was completely empty except for my family and an officer who snapped our picture.
It was a beautiful Easter. And probably the last one in Utah for the next decade (I secretly hope those words are not true). Time is flying by, I really cannot believe that May is almost over and we only have two months left here.

Braquel ツ

My sister Raquel is engaged!!! She got engaged on Tuesday night and we couldn't be happier for her! Brad Spencer is one awesome guy and we are excited to add him to the family. The Kendell girls must be destined for "B" names because Brad makes up the third! Ben, Brian, and now Brad! (Four if you include Brooke) The family is already calling the boys by the wrong name. So now our names have turned into.. Bemille, Brianna, and Braquel. Haha!
And here is a picture of her ring! Totally gorgeous! It's so exciting to see it on her finger!
They will be sealed for time and all eternity in the bountiful temple on July 12! That's coming up very quickly! We are so excited to have Brad apart of our family! It's so fun to see them so happy! Woot! Congratulations!

DI, Forts, Books, Letters, and FUN

Sometimes Brian and I do random things.. I love it every time! I'm not talking about catching bunnies, chalking random neighbors (If you were a victim, I hope you enjoyed our artwork and lucky charms) or dancing down the sidewalks every night (It's a free show every night haha-we always get random people stopping to watch)
This time Brian and I went to the DI and bought a random book. This book is called Born for Eachother. It sounded fitting ha! Next we came home and built ourselves a hefty fort. We were pretty proud of our little home of blankets.

Then it was time for treats and our activity. We each had a sharpie and we would open it to a random page and then the fun would begin. We wouldn't let the other read what we were doing until we were done, but we'd cross out words and sentences and leave just the stuff that we wanted to read to each other in the end.
If you look below on the right side (page 147) you can see that it starts out reading "I'm talking about a girl who is wonderful..." It was so fun to see what messages we would uncover for each other! Somtimes we'd get something way sappy and then other times it was just pure random. But that was definitely what was so fun about it. After several pages of this we finally went to bed (in the fort of course).

"He kissed her, the sweetness pervaded his soul" Pahahaha! :)

Bunny Update

Well the bunnies are getting cuter and cuter every single day. They get more and more hair (right now it's just little peach fuzz). It's amazing how just a little hair can make them look so adorable.
We went home this last weekend for mother's day (a shout out to our wonderful mothers!) and sadly two of the little ones didn't make it bringing the ten down to eight. (Brian's favorite -Jackson (as he insists that it was a little boy and for some reason wanted that name) was one that didn't make it) But anyway, here are some pictures of the little ones.
They are now about a week old and soon their eyes will be opening! I can't wait! It's been amazing to watch them grow and change in such a short amount of time! Our little surprise and turned out to be a little blessing!
