The Arrival

Saying Goodbye to Utah, Friends, and Family was difficult.. but we know the wonderful adventures that the Lord has in store for us are going to be well worth the distance from our loved ones.
Here are just a few moments we caught with our loved ones before we left..

Then it was time for the big departure....
We read our good fortunes as we drove.. Very appropriate. "You are always welcome in any gathering." was Brian's. Mine said, "Today is a good day for being with a companion." I couldn't have agreed more. It was a long and hard day, leaving behind family.
I didn't think I would cry until after I got to Chicago and reality set in.. but it hit me the night before. As I knelt down and prayed with my family for the last time living in Utah. Then of course the next morning as I waved goodbye to my sweet mom and hugged her one last time.
Then it was time for the 22 hour drive with our Uhaul towing behind us. We were blessed with beautiful sunsets and sunrises as we drove.
It wasn't before long that we said goodbye to the mountains and hello to flat, humid, forest=like Chicagoland.
These pictures aren't great, but it was just taken from the car window. We have yet to go in to the city and walk around and see the sites.
This picture below is for Mr Bradley Spencer himself..
It was late.. but we had to go see the school..
Woot woot! We are excited to have finally made it here and are SO ready to bring on whatever Chicago has to throw at us! A big thanks to all our loved ones back home. We have really appreciated the support, love, and prayers! We miss you all!

Wake Pal

We took off for Lake Powell the day after we arrived home from Flaming Gorge. We drove 3 cars down because we had the boat behind one, the tent trailer behind another, and then the third car was for Raquel and Brad because they were coming home a few days early.
Brian and I drove by ourselves in one of the cars because Brian woke up extremely sick that Sunday morning. It was pretty bad and not a fun way to start the trip off, but he started feeling a little better to do some skiing by Thursday. I’m so proud of him though because he was such a trooper even though he felt so ill.
We were there for a week and it was a great week of relaxing, cliff jumping, exploring, swimming, skiing, wake boarding, cruising around, and camping! The weather was perfect! We couldn't have asked for better!

Little lizard..
Kissing a frog.. She can hope right?

Love his glasses..

First time up since being sick...

 We LOVE Lake Powell! :)

Flaming in the Gorge

These last two weeks living in Utah have been filled with family time, which is exactly what we wanted to fill it with before we depart on our adventure. On the 19th of July we took off for Flaming Gorge with Brian’s family so here are some great pictures from that below.

As the pictures show.. we had a grand ol' time! Love this family and we already miss them so much!
