A Bear Lake "Hanging"

   Friday the 13 was a good day. In fact it was so great we decided to go watch a hanging! We headed up in the afternoon to Bear Lake.

Took a nice swim and skipped rocks!

Then it was time for the "Hanging." We drove over to Pickleville Playhouse to watch The Hanging of El Bandito. My friend Jess was one of the stars of the show and I really wanted to watch her perform and see her one more time before we move away.

She's the Indian girl, Sam. Her voice and acting is just stunning!

After the show.. I got to give her one last hug. She is one talented girl and it was so much fun to watch the show. It was HILARIOUS! Not at all what I expected of the show!

     After the "Hanging" We were extremely hungry so we headed over to the Bear Trap Family Restaurant for some grub and then it homeward bound as the storm hit. I just love rain, and watching it come across the big late was just beautiful. We are so blessed!
