TRUE Aggie

Yes! It finally officially HAPPENED! Brian and I are officially TRUE Aggies together! I say officially because last year at Homecoming we were going to be True Aggies so we waited in line and the ASUSU person had everyone kiss at midnight regardless of whether you were on the A or not! So technically we were True Aggies.. but in my mind not officially until we STOOD on the A on Saturday night!
We even received LEGIT cards to make it all the more OFFICIAL!

Day 54! First Day Back

So back to classes once again! Brian has been SO ready to come back and be busy once again. He's not the kind of person that likes to have a lot of free time and time to relax. Sadly he worked the night shift again last night and was just so exhausted today that he missed his first class and staggered to the rest of them. He even had enough energy to throw me in the snow! Burrrrr..
We still had a great day though, getting back into the semester and everything. I was able to get my entire schedule figured out which was nice so I feel much more at ease. 18 credits for me and I need to get a Dean's signature so I can sign up for a dance class with Brian! Brian has 14 credits I believe, but man are the subjects WAY over my head! That kid is too smart for my brain and it blows my mind. I love how he always has an explanation for every response or biological movement. It's creepy sometimes... but that's how my dad can be too! Ha... Men---They love to show off that's for sure :)
Anyway.. more wedding stuff with shortening the luncheon list down. It's crazy how many family members one really has when it's all down on paper. But we are only allowed a certain number so it's gonna be hard to pick and choose. Hopefully the family will understand the situation though and know we still love them! I also had to make a few appointments today... it's weird to think how much a girl spends yearly on haircuts, highlights, make-up, hair products, nails, perfume... and whatever else girls buy. For me, it's all happening at once so the prices are stacking up.. ugh! Do I really need all this now? Ha, but I keep getting told, "It's worth it, it is your special day!" I just want to make sure I look as natural as I can. I want to look like me and not completely done up so that when I look back I don't recognize myself ya know?

P.S! We've been Engaged for a Month now! Woot Woot! And it's been four months since our first kiss! Woah!!! :)

Day 57! Back to Logan

When I got up this morning my mom and I tried on my dress with all the accessories we had bought to find out what we liked best. My mom was testing the material we bought for the sash to see just how wide we would want it. I really like the look of the zebra against the whiteness of the dress, and the shoes are looking gorgeous as well. I'm super excited to put the whole thing together.
Brian came and picked me up around noon and we headed back up to Logan. Because we bought our ring at Needham's Jewelers, we got a $25 gift certificate to Hamilton's Restaurant and it expired this Sunday so we went over tonight. Brian got Salmon and I got Chicken Cordon Bleu. Man was it so delicious! We ate both of our plates and even had room for pumpkin cheesecake which was better than the one I had at the Cheesecake Factory!
For the rest of the night we watched a few wedding videos to see what we want to tell our videographer when we see her next week. We started picking out songs we liked too. Of course we're going to have the songs that mean the most to us such as, Would you go with Me by Josh Turner (We sang on our first date and when he proposed), Just the Way You Are by Bruno Mars (Brian sings this to me whenever he sees me or randomly texts parts to me), What If by Colbie Caillat (Just a SUPER cute song!). But I really like these ones as well, Today was a Fairytale by Taylor Swift (What we sang in the car right before he popped the question) Rhythm of Love by Plain White Tees and Something Beautiful by Needtobreathe.

Day 82! Studying Away..

Studying... Studying... and MORE studying! Finals week! Why did Brian ask me the weekend before finals? Neither of us could focus all weekend and today we really had to crack down today to crack down and study. Brian had two finals today, and I have one tomorrow. Blah! I can't wait for this week to be over so I can really set to work on wedding plans and what not. I have less than 3 months to plan which could sound like a lot of time to some people, but others who know, realize that with school going on, it's tough to plan a wedding. Thank goodness for Christmas break :)
My biggest debate right now is whether to have a reception or not. My dream wedding is this: Get married in the morning at the Salt Lake Temple, have a small luncheon with my family and a few friends, and then be on the plan set for my honeymoon by 2 in the afternoon. No reception, no lines, no exhaustion. Sounds dreamy right? Receptions are SO expensive, and I would much rather take the money that would normally be used on a reception and use it for school or go on an elaborate honeymoon. That sounds more thrilling and inviting to me. Lately though as I've talked to people about the big news, I realized that there are A TON of people that I would really like to see and have them meet Brian or vice versa. So now.. I'm debating on a party the night before the wedding. So if we got married on March 5th, then March 4th I would just have an open house where people could come see Brian and me. We'll see.. This type of planning is what Christmas break is for. As for now, Brian and I are just going to focus on finals to be over after Thursday and then full speed ahead! Woot Woot! :)

Just thought these would be fun to post. For a date once we bleached shirts for the other to wear. He made mine and I made his. And then we took white shoes and colored fabric markers on them and made some AWESOME shoes! Yea-ya!
